LaceUp supports three ways to get a plan:
.json file from the Files app.Make sure your iPhone and Watch are on the same Wi-Fi network or Bluetooth is on.
Go to Settings → Athlete Profile. Enter your threshold pace (in MM:SS per km or per mile) and your maximum heart rate. LaceUp calculates all five zones automatically. You can also set each zone boundary manually.
Try these steps in order:
Reinstalling the app removes all locally stored data including scheduled workouts. Re-import your plan and sync again. Your completed workout history remains in Apple Health and is not affected.
Check that your Athlete Profile has a threshold pace set. Without it, LaceUp cannot calculate zone targets and the workout schedules with distance-only guidance. Set your threshold pace, then re-sync.
Go to Settings → Privacy → Health → LaceUp and make sure Workouts and Heart Rate are set to Read. Then return to LaceUp and pull to refresh on the Progress Dashboard.
The dashboard requires at least one completed workout in Apple Health that falls within your plan's date range. Completed Apple Watch workouts sync automatically. If you ran without your Watch, use the + button on the Progress Dashboard to log the run manually.
Go to Settings → Privacy → Health → LaceUp and enable Workouts under Allow LaceUp to Write Data. This is required for the Quick Run feature and manual run logging.
Go to Settings → Subscription inside LaceUp and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.
The free tier includes: 1 active plan, JSON import, Apple Watch scheduling, calendar sync, and shoe tracker. Premium adds unlimited plans, AI plan generation & coaching chat, the progress dashboard, plan templates, and home-screen widgets.
If none of the above helps, email us. Include your iOS version, Watch model (if relevant), and a brief description of what you tried.
